Core Quadrants
1. Core Quadrant - Creativity
Since, creativity is one of my core-quadrants. It is important for me to be creative in any kind of way, as it has a lot to do with my personality. So my individual role in the team is using my creativity. However, of course there are some challenges for me, in deed to keep things realistic, also it may be a threat for me accepting traditional ideas of others.
I do have a great influence on the projects by applying my imagination. After all it is possible to let one’s creativity out in any project, especially in an imagineering project but also subjects such as project management. As it is all about creating a memorable experience and forming something innovative and unique in order to stand out of your competitors. But while wanting to be an event manager one day you are in need of creativity. Subjects such as imagineering gave me even a deeper knowledge and it actually learns you how to think outside the box, and I am able to let my creativity free in all kinds of way. Letting my imagination run is the best opportunity for me, as you are allowed to come up with crazy ideas and I get to blast off into some uncharted territory of my mind. Furthermore, Imagineers need to know the values of their target group in order to create a meaningful experience. Imagineering is all about coming up with original creative concepts and find a unique experience. This education I am following now will get me to the point I want to be in later in life.
2. Core Quadrant - Organized
Besides being creative, I think it is important to stay organized within a team. Being organized is necessary in any project, such as to keep track within time, task division and setting internal deadlines within the project group. I prefer that any project group I work with does not have a chaotic working atmosphere, therefore I keep myself organized as well and try to steer this into the group too. During meetings I want to stick to the topic and get them done, instead of wasting time and chatting around. So I mostly take initiative and tell them that we should get started as we are now in a meeting and should not be discussing personal things. I get annoyed by someone who is unorganized because they seem to not follow the project and deliver things late. However I usually deal with these members and try to help them get back on track and this is why this is one of my personal qualities, helping and supporting people if needed.
3. Core Quadrant - Helpful
Helpful, is one of my core quadrant that can easily be identified in my personality. As I am always willing to help people. Even with small things or even when I don't really have the time, I will make time for those people who want my help and who ask for it. But here my pitfall is that I can interfere the people who I seem that need my help but actually do not want it.
