Creative leadership - ‘Mobilize/activate yourself as well as others, in order to achieve a desired situation and to reach the goals you have set.

As team worker, I am reliable when it comes to deadlines. I believe that if I keep the internal deadlines and hand in everything in time, in exchange I expect the same from my fellow group members. I am the motivator as well. I try to encourage people to get started and to see things positively. This is not just seen at school but also when I cater at a restaurant. I want my colleagues to just smile even if it isn’t going to good with certain customers. I tell them, to just put a nice smile on their face and to think of something else. This is my spirit usually when it comes to annoying customers in a restaurant. I want my team to swallow their annoyed feelings and just shine. I believe keeping myself motivated keep everyone else around you motivated as well. Also when we meet up with the Broeikas members, we start promoting better when we are all motivated and set a goal for the company, for example reaching to 2000 likes on facebook in the next 2 weeks.

The communicator is an important role for creative leadership. Communication is needed for great teamwork or even outside of school in your personal setting. Giving and receiving feedback can either be positive or negative statement, however the feedback should not be offending but it should be taken as advice from each other. This way you can improve yourself only better and make others aware of their strengths or weaknesses. Also keeping the communication flowing in any team is highly important so that everyone gets the information correctly. When there is a problem that occurs I try to bring the messages to the other person positively, they will understand and hopefully correct themselves. Giving each other the feedback is a great way to get to reach the goals you set.

Being my own coach is always a lot more difficult than said. First of all, I always set myself small goals and step-by-step I can achieve that what I want. For example, I have back problems for a couple of months now. Surgery is my very last option and therefore I slowly did everything I could to do to get better. I set my own goals, to reach to something I need. It is hard doing it but if I train and do each week some exercises I will get there at some point. I am really dedicated when I really want something to work out. This is the same when I need to start studying for an exam. I set small deadlines at the beginning and in the end I happy to have started earlier with studying because achieving something requires a lot more than you think.
